Full spectrum, evidence-based doula support

Birth Doula Services

  • Complimentary Interview

Our initial interview takes place at your home and includes your spouse or birth partner. This meeting will be the time to talk through your personal history and the birth you envision. We can discuss my role and the purposes of my services as a doula and determine if we are a good fit!

  • Prenatal Visits

During these meetings we will discuss your ideal birth experience, what kinds of support work best for you, and how your partner can help you during labor and birth. We will practice physical comfort measures, breathing rhythms, and create a safe space for you to explore your preferences.

  • Unlimited Call/Text Support

You have my continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your journey. I will help answer any questions and concerns you might have, and provide resources and referrals to suit your needs. For non-urgent matters I am available during normal business hours via call, text, or email. From 2 weeks before your due date, I am on-call and available to you at all times.

  • On-Call Labor/Delivery Support

I am on-call and available to you starting at 38 weeks. My goal as your doula is to provide a sense of safety and empowerment as you go into your labor and birth. I will be present with you throughout the labor process and advocate for your choices. I will stay with you up to 2 hours after birth, or until you are ready for private family time with your new baby.

  • Postpartum Visit

Within the first week or so after your baby is born, we will meet to review your birth, overall experience, and to check in on the wellbeing of you and your family. My hope during this meeting is to be a source of validation and encouragement as you start life with your new baby.

Postpartum Doula Services

  • Complimentary Interview

Our initial interview will be a time to discuss your family’s needs and to decide if we are a good match! We will meet in your home to talk over your history, expectations and required hours of support. Every family is unique and as your doula I provide flexibility as you learn your new rhythms.

  • Emotional and Physical Support

I will be present for you and listen as you process your recent birth experience and the emotions that come up in the postpartum period, including routine screening for perinatal mood disorders. I will also support your physical recovery after birth and inform you when to consult your midwife or OB with your concerns.

  • Feeding Support

As your doula I support any way you choose to feed your baby. I provide support and education around formula and chestfeeding, and help you establish the feeding routines that work for you. I will provide emotional reassurance and can give recommendations to a lactation consultant if desired.

  • Newborn Care and Bonding

I provide assistance with newborn care in the form of bathing, feeding, sleeping, soothing, changing diapers, and encouraging you and/or your partner as you learn how to care for your new baby in these ways. I can help older siblings, grandparents, pets, or anyone else in the family get used to life with a new baby at home.

  • Light Housekeeping and Meal Prep

I can assist with light household tasks such as tidying and cleanup, dishwashing, baby laundry, or nursery organization. I am also able to run errands such as picking up groceries. I can prepare simple meals and snacks to make sure your nutritional needs are being met while you care for your baby.

  • Resources and Referrals

If your needs go beyond my scope of practice as a doula, I know many amazing providers and resources in the Inland Empire. I can refer out to local support groups, lactation consultants, family therapists, babywearing classes — you name it! Remember, it takes a village.
